Week-One of the 2010 season brings a strong set of non-conference games for the WIAC.

UW-River Falls @ No. 11 Ohio Northern The Falcons and Polar Bears play this (Thursday) afternoon (2 pm CDT kickoff). Ohio Northern is expected to be a prime challenger to Mount Union for the Ohio Athletic Conference Title this fall.

UW-Stout @ Black Hills State (South Dakota) Stout is coming off an excellent 8 & 2 season and may be better this season. The Blue Devils roll Friday night in Spearfish.

UW-Oshkosh @ No. 7 Central Iowa The Titans play at Central on Saturday before returning home to take on No. 2 ranked Mount Union next Saturday.

No. 18 Willamette (Oregon) @ UW-Stevens Point The Pointers and Bearcats game is one of the feature opening week games in NCAA Division III action.
I give the Pointers the advantage with Willamette having to make the long trek to cheese country.

UW-Platteville @ Buena Vista (Iowa) The Pioneers have won all 11 season-opening games under Coach Emmedorfer. Make it 12 in a row.

Bethel (Tennessee) @ UW-Eau Claire Home field advantage for the Blugolds.
Voice's Pick: UW-Eau Claire 24, Bethel (Tennessee) 13

East Texas Baptist (Texas) @ UW-La Crosse UW-L beat ETB 28-13 last year down on the plains of Texas. Eagles look to be improved this season.

Adrian (Michigan) @ No. 1 UW-Whitewater The defending Division III National Champion Warhawks host Adrian (Michigan) a team that looks to challenge for the MIAA title in 2010. The Bulldogs have an excellent defense.
