The UW-Whitewater football team has begun preparations for the first leg of on this year’s “Road to Salem.” A spirited practice session took place Tuesday afternoon as the focus now turns to the postseason. Watching practice it was evident that the energy level was ratcheted up a notch.
Whitewater (10-0) opens the playoffs Saturday by hosting Albion College (6-4), the champions of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAA). Kickoff is set for 12-Noon.
For Warhawk fans – There will be FREE hot dogs, pop and beer at the Coulthart Family Pavilion adjacent to the stadium beginning at 10 a.m. Food will be available while the supply lasts.
Parking information: $10 preferred, $5 general
Attention UW-Whitewater students: Free student tickets are available at two locations:DLK Enterprises: 144 Tratt Street, and Residence Life: Goodhue 1st Floor.
*Tickets are reserved for students who reside in DLK Enterprises or Residence Halls and can be picked up during normal business hours. Photo ID is required.Tickets are available while supplies last.
