Fans attending UW-Whitewater football games at Perkins Stadium should allow additional time to enter the stadium to comply with new security measures.
All fans will be asked to open their jackets, blankets and purses as they enter the gates to check for any prohibited items. There will be no area to check prohibited items, so fans that are turned away at the gate must return the item to their vehicle or dispose of the item before entering the stadium.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: weapons, alcohol, containers/coolers/food or beverages, strollers, flags/banners, umbrellas, computers, noisemakers, bags larger than 8.5x11 inches, laser pointers and inflatables.
