We might be just two days into summer of 2011 but there is a date I’d like you to mark down on the calendar.
The 18th Annual Wally & Rod's UW-Whitewater Quarterback Club, Tip-Off & Dugout Club Raffle-Auction will be held Saturday evening, November 12th in the Hamilton Room of the James R. Connor University Center on the UW-Whitewater campus.
The event will be held following the UW-La Crosse vs. UW-Whitewater football game at Perkins Stadium.
All three athletic programs are annually ranked among the nation’s elite.
The Warhawk football program enters the upcoming season following back-to-back NCAA Division III national championships and has met Mount Union in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl for the past six consecutive seasons.
As we all know, operating an NCAA Division III football program with a 100 student-athletes is a difficult task with increasing operational costs and technology needs. Your participation in the annual Raffle-Auction has been a huge factor in allowing the UW-Whitewater football program to achieve national elite status on an annual basis.
Throughout the summer a member of one of the three booster clubs will likely be contacting you in reference to possibly donating items for the 2011 auction. You will also be asked to purchase tickets to the November 12th event.
