NCAA Division III football will take center stage on Monday evening’s KOOL 106.5 UW-Whitewater Coaches Show. Hawk head coach Lance Leipold will be talking to Gary Douglas and Tom “Voice” Pattison to lead off the show at 6:00 p.m.
D3football.com’s Pat Coleman will join the boys at 6:15 p.m. to talk about the story that broke late last week that this year’s Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl will be played on Friday night, Dec. 16, with a 7 p.m. scheduled air time on ESPNU.
The City of Salem, Virginia issued a release Friday afternoon. "This is a great move for the championship," says Brad Bankston, Commissioner of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. "Playing at night will provide the city and NCAA the opportunity to spotlight Division III football in primetime, which is something we have wanted since that 2001 game."
