The UW-Whitewater football team will be back on the road in Week 2.
The Warhawks travel to Franklin College, located about 45 minutes south of Indianapolis, Indiana on I-65.
Saturday’s game will be a rematch of last November’s 1st Round NCAA Division Playoff game between the two schools.
UW-Whitewater won the game 52-21, but had a halftime lead of just 28-21.
The Grizzlies appear to have another high-octane offense this season.
Franklin College opened its season Saturday with a wild 49-35 road win at Valparaiso University.
The Grizzlies, who piled up a whopping 669 yards of total offense, topped the Crusaders, a NCAA Football Championship Subdivision affiliate, for the second consecutive year. The contest was the season opener for both schools.
