Justin Beaver and Levell Coppage are the only two UW-Whitewater running backs to eclipse 2000 yards rushing in a single season.

Despite the gawdy statistics, Coppage and Beaver do not hold the record for the quickest to 1000 yards in a single season.

• John Damato holds the record to “quickest to 1000” by going over the 1000 yard mark in 137 carries in game 8 in 1997 vs. UW-La Crosse.

• Eddie McKennie ranks second at 138 carries in game 9 in 1996 vs. uw-oshkosh.

• Antwan Anderson is 3rd on the list at 144 carries in game 12 vs. Wartburg in the third round of the 2008 NCAA Division III playoffs

** Levell Coppage enters 2011 just 909 yards shy of Justin Beavers’ career rushing record of 6,584 yards
