Who is the No. 1 recieving tandem in UWW football history?

The UW-Whitewater football program has been blessed with a number of great wide receivers over the years.

Statistically speaking, the group of receivers during the current run of championships, has been a major factor in the program’s seven consecutive WIAC Championships and seven straight meetings with Mount Union at the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl in Salem, Virginia.

Early in the run it was Derek Stanley and Jim Leszczynski. Over the past four years it has been Aaron Rusch and Adam Brandes. Add to those four players, Neil Mrkvicka and Jordan Wells and you have six of the top ten receivers statistically in UW-Whitewater football history.

The top tandem (statistically) is Rusch and Brandes who finished their Warhawk football careers with 6,175 yards receiving. The tandem of Stanley and Leszczynski rank second at 5,168 yards.

If you are talking about career receiving touchdowns – Stanley and Leszczynski are No. 1 with 60 touchdowns. Rusch and Brandes rank second with 54 career touchdowns.
