UW-River Falls and Ohio Northern to kickoff 2010's Division III season this afternoon


UW-River Falls and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference will get some national publicity this afternoon.

11th-ranked Ohio Northern University will face River Falls at 2 pm (CDT) today in the first game nationally of the NCAA Division III season.

The game can be seen live on a pay-per-view basis for just $10 on OhioCollegeFootball.com.

Meanwhile, UW-Stout is out in the Black Hills preparing for it's season opener Friday night vs. (NAIA) Black Hills State College in Spearfish, South Dakota.

The remainder of the WIAC are set to open the 2010 season on Saturday.

The Warhawks will welcome Adrian College (Michigan) to Perkins Stadium. It is Welcome Back Students Day and last year's seniors return to the Perk for a special pregame ceremony honoring the 2009 NCAA Division III Champions with the raising of the second national championship flag in three years at U-Dub-Dub.
