- The Warhawk football team's charter flight scheduled to arrive in Madison was diverted to Milwaukee due to the major winter storm descending on much of Wisconsin. "Wheels down" at 8:00 p.m. and the airport was virtually empty. Most flights beginning late Saturday afternoon were either cancelled or "on hold."
-I t was raining heavily in Milwaukee when we got back in town - the rain changed over to snow and a greasy/icy road condition when we got to Mukwonago. Several places where the Coach USA motor coaches had to stop (stop signs, etc) or drive up hills resulted in the wheels spinning. Hopefully most of the players were planning on staying in Whitewater.
- I have plenty of stories and thoughts to pass along but I am extremely tired. It was a looong day. I'll be blogging quite a bit on Sunday.
- Great job Hawks and Hawk fans. Great turnout of fans at Saturday's game in Dover - outstanding! I want to see YOU in Salem next weekend!
- That's it, goodnight...
